Delete your Framura account
This page explains how to delete your account in the Framura app by Stubelabs and which data is deleted.
By e-mail, without the app
Write to datenschutz@framura.app from the e-mail address of your account and ask us to delete it. Nothing else is needed. We delete the account and confirm it in our reply, within one month at the latest.
If you signed up with Sign in with Apple, also remove Framura in your Apple ID settings under “Sign in with Apple” afterwards.
In the app
- Open Profile › Settings.
- Tap “Delete account” and read what is deleted and what stays.
- Type your username and tap “Delete account”.
What is deleted and what stays
We delete immediately: your profile with your chosen username and profile photo, all your templates – including public ones – with their preview images, your votes, collections, follows and blocks, and your sign-in details. Copies in our delivery network (CDN) expire within an hour; server logs are deleted after seven days. Our daily database backups still contain the account data for up to seven days; images are not part of them.
Reports you sent stay stored until their retention period ends, but are no longer linked to your account; a name or e-mail address you gave voluntarily stays with the report. Reports about your content and moderation decisions about your account stay until their retention periods end, so we can show that we met our duties under the Digital Services Act and respond to legal claims. Copies other people made – screenshots, cached copies or their own templates based on yours – we can't get back.
Your chosen username stays blocked for everyone for 30 days, including you, so no one can pose as you; we store only the name and the end date, without any link to you. The app deletes drafts on your device only if you choose that when deleting in the app; otherwise they stay until you delete them or uninstall the app. Your entry on our waiting list isn't affected; you unsubscribe from it separately.
